FIRST Steamworks is here!

In this our 6th year in South Florida we are looking forward to hosting FRC teams at sunny Palm Beach. We are working hard to make sure the local, out of state and international teams visiting us have a place to play and celebrate the outcome of those arduous 6 weeks of intense labor which started this January 7th.

Want to get involved?

  • Volunteer – we need more than 150 volunteers to make this game a reality. Come have some fun with us and at the same time help students excited about science, technology… ROBOTICS!
  • Mentor a Team – South Florida teams are always looking for the few, the proud, the mentors who can teach them and guide them. It doesn’t matter that you have never built a robot in your life – they need help with marketing, sales, accounting, coding, electronics, media, video editing… you name it. In fact, if you are currently a hard-working adult, you probably have a skill that is needed for the success of their team.
  • Sponsor – Hosting 50+ teams require not only human capital, but also just plain capital. Help us IGNITE OUR FUTURE by supporting this wonderful sport of the mind!

If you have any questions about our regional event, please contact us.

  1. Hi, I’m in a school in Medellin Colombia. We created a team to participate in the FRC in 2016. We are a rookie team, we have never participated but we want to start. Since we don’t have any experience, we are looking for more experienced teams that are willing to help us learn along the process. Are there any teams or persons that would be willing to help us out. What we need most is guidance.
Thanks, and we’ll see you in the South Florida regional event!

You can contact the team through the website contact information. We hope to see you at the South Florida Regional.
